The House of Representatives has passed the Breaking the Gridlock Act (HR-1834), which would extend special ObamaCare subsidies created during the Covid pandemic. This premium assistance expired at the end of 2025.

While i understand that these subsidies were intended to be temporary, millions of Americans depended on this assistance in order to pay their health care premiums. When they expired, premiums tripled for some. An estimated 5 million Americans will abandon their health insurance because their premiums no longer are affordable.

While these subsidies may be just a temporary fix, they are the only fix currently on the table. I'm therefore, as your constituent, urging you to immediately support this.
