Tipping Point

A discussion following the film will be led by Roland Hwang of the Natural Resources Defense Council, who appears in the film.

For years, residents of Fort Chipewyan have been dying of rare forms of cancer. In order to protect their people, the downstream chiefs take their battle to the boardrooms of global oil companies, demanding change, and catch the attention of Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron.

This powerful documentary helps us understand the trade-offs Americans make to support their consumptive lifestyles.
